Dr Prathibha Aprameyan

Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist

Dr Prathibha Aprameyan graduated from medical school in India with distinction; completed specialist training in rehabilitation medicine in Sydney and is a fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (RACP).

Dr Aprameyan was drawn to rehabilitation medicine from a desire to holistically maximise function and improve quality of life in addition to evidence based medical care. Dr Aprameyan has expertise in managing people with functional decline from complex medical and geriatric conditions, cancer rehabilitation, traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries and orthopaedic rehabilitation. She is passionate about providing integrated multidisciplinary rehabilitation care in the community and is a part of various rehab clinics exploring newer models of care to extend services to the community.

Dr Mark Haran

Rehabilitation Specialist

Dr Mark Haran has practiced on the Northern Beaches for almost two decades. He has a long-established relationship with local doctors, specialists and service providers in the area. His special interests include orthopaedic, geriatric and general rehabilitation.

He has formal post-graduate training in evidenced-based medicine and research methods as well as quality health service delivery. He assesses patients in the Royal North Shore Hospital Falls and Fracture Prevention Service, a service which he was a co-founder in 2000.

Dr Fari Jashnany

Rehabilitation Specialist

Dr Fari Jashnany is a Rehabilitation Physician who undertook his training in rehabilitation in Sydney from 2003 and commenced in private practice in 2009. He has experience in a wide range of rehabilitation with particular interest in orthopaedic, cardio-respiratory and neurological rehabilitation.

Dr Victoria Keighran

Rehabilitation Specialist

Dr Victoria Keighran obtained her medical degree at the University of New South Wales in 2009 and completed her 5 year postgraduate specialisation in rehabilitation medicine in tertiary level teaching hospitals throughout Sydney.

Dr Keighran is passionate about providing holistic patient-centred care and enjoys working with individuals with complex care needs in order to optimise their independence and quality of life. She has particular interest in traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, critical illness and neurological rehabilitation.

Dr Martin Kennedy

Rehabilitation, Pain and Palliative Specialist

Dr Martin Kennedy graduated from Sydney University in 1984 and proceeded to train in Rehabilitation, Palliative and Pain Medicine specialties in both Australia and the UK over the subsequent 15 years. He has significant experience, having practiced in an integrated manner in all three specialty areas in both public and private settings in Sydney over the past 20 plus years.

Dr Kennedy is passionate about providing intimate, compassionate, individualised, team based subacute care to all of his patients and particularly those with complex, multidimensional and life limiting illnesses.

Dr Yvette Kosch

Rehabilitation Specialist

Dr Yvette Kosch completed her medical degree at the University of NSW in 1999, followed by a 4 year postgraduate training program in rehabilitation medicine. She has worked as a Rehabilitation specialist since 2007, with an interest in aged care, orthopaedic and neurological conditions.

Dr Kosch has extensive experience in neurological rehabilitation as a former Staff Specialist in traumatic brain Injury and has published research in this field. She consults in complex care health conditions (chronic cardiac and respiratory disease) at Mona Vale hospital community health. Dr Kosch also consults at RSL LifeCare Narrabeen where she has developed an innovative program for rehabilitation of the older person.

Dr Anthony Suen

Rehabilitation Specialist

Dr Anthony Suen was born and raised in Sydney, and undertook his medical training at the University of Sydney. In addition to his medical degree he also has a clinical research background in musculoskeletal physiology. He obtained his residency at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney prior to embarking on the career path of rehabilitation medicine. He has been a Rehabilitation Physician since 2012. His areas of expertise include musculoskeletal rehabilitation, geriatric rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, pain management, acquired brain injury and spinal cord injury. He is also an accredited Workcover impairment assessor.

Dr Ketan Bhatt


Dr Ketan Bhatt is a geriatrician based at the Sydney Adventist Hospital in Wahroonga. He has a particular interest in the assessment and management of falls, cognitive disorders and peri-operative geriatric care. He is a lecturer at the University of Sydney clinical school based at Sydney Adventist Hospital.

Dr Desmond Graham


Dr Desmond Graham is a Geriatrician who graduated from the University of Newcastle and completed specialty training at Westmead and North Shore Hospitals.

He is actively involved with the Australia and New Zealand Society for Geriatric Medicine and holds an academic appointment as a Clinical Lecturer with the University of Sydney.

Dr Graham has a special interest in healthy ageing and peri operative medicine. He provides holistic, patient-centered care for all patients with major geriatric syndromes including dementia, delirium, frailty, falls and end of life care.

Dr Ming Loh


Dr Ming Loh is a Geriatrician at Northern Beaches Hospital and a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney. He has been practicing in the field of geriatric medicine since 2010 and was previously the clinical lead for orthogeriatrics and aged care rehabilitation at Westmead Hospital.

Dr Loh has expertise in falls prevention, healthy ageing and preoperative patient assessments and care of the elderly. He is currently involved in projects with the Agency for Clinical Innovation and the Clinical Excellence Commission. Dr Loh represents the Royal Australian College of Physicians on national perioperative medicine committees and is a federal councillor for the Australian and New Zealand Society for Geriatric Medicine.

Dr Loh has particular interest in caring for patients recovering after surgery.

Dr Su Yen Ng


Dr Su Yen Ng is a geriatrician and graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2009. She obtained the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians in 2017 and is establishing her practice in the Northern Beaches. Dr Ng’s subspecialty interest is in community geriatrics and enjoys providing specialist care in homes and residential aged care facilities. She is an advocate for healthy ageing and strives to optimise the independence of the elderly in the community.

Dr Welkee Sim


Dr Welkee Sim is a physician and has been practising in the field of geriatric medicine since 2005. He is a graduate of the University of Queensland and obtained his physician qualification (FRACP) in 2007. Dr Sim is passionate about the health of the elderly in the community, especially with regards to quality of life issues and strongly believes in supporting independent living for as long as possible. He also places great importance on educating family members and carers so as to reduce carer stress.
